Community Grants – Expanding Our REACH and IMPACT

Being a Virginia-only company, we look for opportunities to help Virginians throughout the Commonwealth, not just in the Northern Neck. One of the ways NNINS helps to build a healthy and thriving community is through its grant program, offered once a year.

 

Grant Priorities

NNINS supports organizations that align with our brand and business mission, including those that support and promote:

  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Safe and Affordable Housing
  • Virginia Families (education, health and wellness, etc.)
  • Community Safety
  • Emergency Response
  • Virginia History and Culture  
  • Virginia’s Natural Environment 

 

How to Apply

  • Download our Grant Proposal form (available Fall 2023)
  • Form is a fillable PDF that can be completed on your computer; save file with your answers
  • Email completed PDF to Mike Antonio at mantonio@nnins.com (avoid printing and emailing scanned copies)
  • DEADLINE: Applications must be received by 5:00 PM, November 15, 2023
  • AWARDS: Grant recipients will be notified November 27th; public announcement November 28th

 

Eligibility

Must be a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) organization or agency serving residents of Virginia.

Not Eligible

  • Recipients who received an NNINS Community Grant the previous two years
  • Religious organizations
  • Organizations or projects that discriminate against individuals based on race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual preference
  • Organizations or projects that are considered to be in direct competition with NNINS
  • Political organizations or candidates
  • Individuals

 

Grant Amount

Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000.
