Community Grants – Expanding Our REACH and IMPACT
Being a Virginia-only company, we look for opportunities to help Virginians throughout the Commonwealth, not just in the Northern Neck. One of the ways NNINS helps to build a healthy and thriving community is through its grant program, offered once a year.
Grant Priorities
NNINS supports organizations that align with our brand and business mission, including those that support and promote:
- Virginia Families (education, health and wellness, etc.)
- Community Safety
- Emergency Response
- Virginia History and Culture
- Virginia’s Natural Environment
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Safe and Affordable Housing
How to Apply
Application period is closed for 2023; grant recipients will be notified via email; public announcement will be made on social media on "Giving Tuesday," November 28, 2023
Eligibility
Must be a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) organization or agency serving residents of Virginia.
Not Eligible
- Recipients who received an NNINS Community Grant the previous two years
- Religious organizations
- Organizations or projects that discriminate against individuals based on race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual preference
- Organizations or projects that are considered to be in direct competition with NNINS
- Political organizations or candidates
- Individuals
Grant Amount
Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000.
