President & CEO

Joining NNINS was a homecoming for Pete. He grew up on a nearby farm before heading to Virginia Tech for his degree in Accounting. In 1987, he jumped at the chance to move back to the area to join a growing company where he could learn all aspects of the business — and to be close to his roots. Today, Pete serves as President and CEO. When he's not at the office, Pete is active in the community where he's coached Little League and served on the boards of the local YMCA and Historic Christ Church. He lives in Kilmarnock with his wife Chris and three sons, Justin, Ryan and Spencer. 

Best part about living in Virginia: "Being able to give back to the same community that supported me when I was growing up. There's nothing better than the sense of belonging that comes from a strong community, except maybe a table full of fresh local seafood on a sunny summer afternoon — pass the Old Bay!"
